Heavy Duty Construction:
Sturdy welded frame and brush head mounting. Precision brush shafts assure smooth operation. Large conveying chains and sprockets for uninterrupted production. All components of the highest quality available.

Quick Adjustments:
Easily accessible adjustments for tube length, brush height and brush pres- sure. Brush shafts are easily removed for brush changeover.

Optional Automatic Tube Transfer:
Machine can be either manually loaded or fed from an optional tube transfer system from the cutoff operation.

Operations Procedure :
Cut tubes or bars are conveyed automatically between two rotating wire brushes. Part lengths are set by adjusting a movable brush head in relation to a stationary brush head. Burrs are simultaneously removed from both ends. With tubing sections the inside diameter and outside diameter are deburred at the same time. When brushing squares, rectangles and other shapes, notched guide rails are used to assure rotation of the part during the brushing operation.

The height of the brushes can be adjusted to achieve the best results for your application.

The same operation chamfers both inside and outside diameters and faces the ends, leaving a smooth, lathe-cut like finish. The complete automatic operation, in combination with carbide inserted cutters and hydraulic feeds, allows your operator to finish up to 2500 tubes per hour. The simplicity of the design and the use of quality components ensures low maintenance and a long machine life. The Haven Endfinishing Machine gives your operation the edge in today’s tube fabricating market.

Hydraulic feed systems.
Feed is positive, precise, and fast at any machine speed. A length tolerance of ±.005" or better can be expected. All models (except the 901, which uses an air feed system) utilize a hydraulic feed system.

AC frequency spindle drive.
The variable speed drive with tachometer and energy efficient motors lets the operator dial in precise RPM for a given tube size.The low required maintenance, when compared to belt drive systems, increases machine uptime and total piece production.

Quick change carbide inserted cutters.
Quick change cutters utilize a standard carbide insert usable in nine different locations. Changing cutters or carbide inserts can be accomplished in just minutes.

Length Adjustment.
Since one cutting head is stationary, the opposite head quickly and accurately adjusts in or out on hardened precision machine surfaces to your specified length. (The Model 922 features two movable heads around a fixed center clamping mechanism) Automatic head lock-up and a digital length readout are standard machine features.
